THE LATVIAN ROBBERS
After F. Schiller’s play "The Robbers"

The near future. Actors are looking for the lost power of theatre, staging Schiller's play "The Robbers" - the first drama staged in the Latvian language. The author of the play having just stepped over the threshold of his twentieth anniversary, in 1781, was asking the question: how can one deal with injustice in the country and in one’s own itself? What is unifying us, the Latvians, like a ball unifying a football team?
