One evening in 1995, in a suspicious bar in Riga, Anatoly, the former Skrunda locator engineer, and his wife Ilona meet a mysterious man named Felix. The newly-acquainted stranger offers not only a respectable place in the new-age society, but also pledges to fulfil their most ardent dreams. Will Anatoly be willing to give up his values to give Ilona, at least, the chance to fulfil a dream she has cherished all her life? This tragic-comedy tells about desperate efforts to adapt to the wild nineties without sacrificing ideals.
