Director Gatis Šmits about the performance: “In 1971 a performance “Play, oh Player!” was staged by LSSR National Youth Theatre in the former Baptist Society Meeting House. The performance held an inexplicable, thrilling power that keeps stirring up minds till this day. LOOKING FOR THE PLAYER is a story about circumstances and events that led to the staging of that performance as well as about people who took a great part in it.”
