The last Michel Houllebecq’s novel is an unsparing and witty diagnosis for the Western society. Since the time of release of the novel (January 2015), the utopian story of France in 2022, where the political power has been taken over by Muslims, is becoming ever more acute, reading of which is not as much fun as it was a year and a half ago. Houllebecq is one of the few contemporary intellectuals, who have any opinion at all about the direction, in which our society is evolving. The author believes that the Europeans themselves, rather than the Muslims, present a threat to civilization.

The Western society is in the pit and continues to dig diligently. Our show is a tribute to all the diggers.
